Working principle of Spirax Sarco 25P pressure reducing valve
The normal position of the 25p pressure reducing valve before starting is that the main valve is closed, and the pilot valve is opened by the spring force. The steam enters the main diaphragm chamber through the pilot valve, and a part of the steam flows out through the control hole. When the steam flowing in from the pilot valve is larger than the steam flowing out of the control hole, the control pressure in the main diaphragm chamber increases, and the main valve is opened. As the steam flows through the main valve of the 25 pressure reducing valve, the increase in downstream pressure acts on the lower part of the pilot diaphragm via the feedback of the induction tube. This force balances the spring compression force on the upper part of the diaphragm, so that the 25P pilot valve gradually closes and throttles. Maintain the pressure in the main diaphragm chamber and control the opening of the main valve to deliver an appropriate amount of steam. Adjust the spring on the diaphragm of the 25P pilot valve to change the set pressure downstream. When steam is not needed, the pressure of the induction tube increases, and the pilot valve is closed, and the control pressure is released from the control hole, so that the main valve is tightly closed.
