STAPS steam trap monitoring system (wireless)
The Spirax Sarco STAPS steam trap wireless monitoring system enables accurate wireless inspection and reporting through a simple, non-intrusive installation to help you provide the performance of your steam system. You only need to install a detection head on the pipeline upstream of the steam trap, which can be detected by "listening" to the sound signal of the trap during operation. This sound signal will be classified and transmitted to the host computer through the 2.4GHz wireless network. The monitoring and management system of Spirax Sarco will determine the status of the trap and accurately calculate the steam loss when the trap leaks.
Steam Trap Monitoring System (Wired)
Spirax Sarco can also provide a wired Spiratec steam trap detection system. The main component is a
sensor that can be connected to the probe at the front of the trap inlet. When the
sensor and indicator's probe connector are connected, the
sensor gives a clear "good" or "failure" signal. The
sensors can be permanently connected to the plant's maintenance management system.
In addition, Spirax Sarco also offers the UP100 Ultrasonic Trap Tester. The UP100 can give visual and audible ultrasonic frequency indications, as a diagnostic tool to analyze the working status of steam traps, and can also be used to detect leaks in steam and compressed air systems.
