I am very proud to introduce you to the new 2N1 Proximity Sensing Valve Position Monitor.
Bray uses a revolutionary design to place two proximity sensors in a compact self-sealing housing. This product expands the Bray product line to meet modern, dispersed manufacturing and process requirements. Electromagnetically driven DeviceNet, PROFIBUS DP and AS-IBUS networks are possible.
The S52 provides stepless valve position electrical signals for all PLC, PC and solid state circuits, which is critical for program control and information networking. The S52 does not require an expensive external junction box, significantly reducing costs. The S52 provides the most compact, reliable and economical monitoring system for valve position.
Electrical connections
The multi-pin cable plug design is fully compatible with modern industrial wiring requirements. Standardized factory pre-wires prevent wiring errors and provide quick installation results. Bray's design places two sensors in a rugged nylon housing, which greatly reduces space requirements and reduces the cost of expensive racks required to install dual switches. The epoxy housing protects the sensor from vibration and interference. The in-place valve position indicates a position pointer made of bright yellow ABS material that indicates the full stroke of the valve position in place. The LED indicator accurately confirms that the sensor is energized and indicates that the valve has reached the target position. Bray also has an optional high-brightness valve position display. Significant color markings - yellow for open and black for off - can show the full stroke of the valve position.
Moisture proof, chemical and corrosion resistant
Two epoxy-coated proximity sensors are mounted in a nylon housing that is moisture-proof and resistant to most chemical corrosion. Once the multi-pin plug is connected, the cable in the field will be completely sealed. The S52 does not use a moving end cap and conduit entry to avoid the possibility of malfunction due to moisture. These protection designs make the 2N1 proximity sensor the best choice for applications in harsh environments.
Valve position sensing contact
A uniquely designed symmetrical contact is mounted inside the valve position pointer bracket. Standard contacts are pre-calibrated by Bray. Customers do not need to spend time adjusting cams and bolts on site. The standard valve position contacts are non-magnetic stainless steel and do not trip due to magnetically free metal objects. Magnetic contacts are used for BUS network sensors. Adjustable contacts allow the customer to individually adjust the open and off signal positions of the valve position.
