Bray is proud to offer three valve position manual controls. All manual mechanisms can be mounted directly to the Bray valve and are epoxy coated for excellent corrosion, wear and impact resistance.
Series 1 handle and chainring
Bray offers two handles for valve switching and throttling – one with a common handle for 1”-12” elastomeric seats and a high torque handle for 21⁄2”-8” high pressure valves. This quarter-turn handle has spring lock and valve position indication. The chainring is fixed by bolts. For flexible seat valves, the chainring has 10 scale fixed valve positions. For high pressure valves, the chainring has 8 scale fixed valve positions. Both handles and chainrings have switch limits to prevent excessive rotation. Arbitrarily positioned sprocket, 180 degree sprocket, memory limit, padlock and 2" square screw hole mechanism are optional accessories.
Series 4 worm gear
Suitable for switching and throttling manual operation of 2"-48" high load valves. The S04 valve has an automatic lubrication function that makes manual operation smooth and smooth. The sturdy cast iron housing has an O-ring seal that provides IP65 outdoor protection. The worm gear with self-locking function keeps the valve in any desired position. The S04 features a worm gear for easy operation, valve position indication and adjustable mechanical limits. Sprockets, padlocks and 2" square screw holes are optional. Stainless steel worm gears for 1"-16" valves are also optional.
Series 5 worm gear with clutch
Applicable to 2"-36" valves, in addition to the characteristics of S04, S05 can also manually turn the function of the pneumatic actuator when the air source is off. For spring-return pneumatic actuators, the S05 is the best manual operating mechanism. When the pneumatic actuator is working, the worm gear is in the clutch state. If the pneumatic actuator does not have a power source and there is no power to switch the valve, manually rotating the clutch lever can make the cam system drive the worm gear to the occlusion state, and the valve can be rotated by turning the hand wheel. The S05 can be used with all of Bray's existing pneumatic actuators.
