Danfoss' KP 44 dual pressure switch is designed for pump protection and it controls and protects the water supply pump. It combines the functions of a pressure switch and flow monitoring. The pressure bellows on the left controls the pump pressure. The bellows on the right disconnects the pump if the suction pressure is too low. In this way, the pump can be protected from damage to the bearing due to idling.
