The MBT 5310 is a temperature sensor designed to measure bearing temperatures and is certified for marine applications. In order to obtain a very short reaction time, the measuring element is placed on a silver dish in the tip of the sensor, which makes the reaction time as short as t0, 5 = 0, 5 seconds (in water). The sensor has an adjustable bayonet fitting and a spring to ensure that the bearing and the metal side of the sensor remain in contact. The temperature sensor uses standard Pt100 components for reliable, high-accuracy measurements.
