The MBT 5116 is a heavy duty temperature sensor that measures and controls exhaust from diesel engines, turbines and compressors in stationary and offshore applications. The temperature sensor uses standard Pt100 components for reliable, high-accuracy measurements. The Pt100 component is a thin-film component designed for heavy duty applications and measures high temperatures up to 600 °C. The sensor core can be replaced during the application process. All parts in contact with the media are made of AISI 316 Ti stainless steel. The sensor can be installed in a limited space.
