For HVAC
The special characteristic PI controller parameter self-tuning is equipped with a PI controller with self-tuning function. The inverter controller observes the response of the controlled system to its correction, and then the self-learning by the PI controller, correcting the parameters and outputting. Control signals so that the system can quickly enter stable and precise operation.

Automatic energy optimization
As a standard feature, Automatic Energy Optimization (AEO) provides the motor with the desired magnetization at all speeds and loads. This increases energy efficiency by 5-15% under non-full load conditions.

Energy monitoring
The VLT HVAC Drive provides complete energy consumption information to identify inefficient components of the HVAC system.

Automatic resonance monitoring

Fire control mode

Temperature set point
Without additional software, sensors or controllers, the VLT® HVAC Drive can calculate the actual room temperature from the pressure of the cooling medium and then adjust the compressor's operation accordingly. This allows the use of less expensive pressure sensors.

Pipe fill mode
Pipe filling becomes a controllable process (closed loop). It can eliminate water hammer, squib and pipe water and gas mixing.

The end of the working curve can detect pipe rupture and leakage
This function can detect pipeline rupture and leakage. When the pump runs at the end of the working curve, it will trigger the inverter to give an alarm, stop the pump or perform other user preset actions.

Dry pump protection reduces maintenance costs
The VLT HVAC Drive continuously evaluates the operating status of the pump based on internal frequency/power measurements.

Standard multi-pump controller
The built-in multi-pump controller can control up to three pumps.

Motor rotation
The built-in logic control function enables the rotation between one and two pumps. The activation of the backup pump prevents the pump from rusting, and the built-in timer ensures that each pump has approximately the same working time and wear.

Flow compensation
The flow compensation function reduces energy set points based on flow and provides significant energy savings.

Start/stop speed step
The starting speed step can quickly accelerate the pump to the minimum value of the normal working speed range, avoiding damage to the bearing and mechanical seal caused by the pump running for a long time at low speed. Sensorless pressure and flow control

safety
The VLT HVAC Drive frequency converter features an optional safety shutdown feature that meets Class 3 installation requirements in EN 954-1. This feature prevents the drive from starting unexpectedly.
