Compared to
Gems' other high-performance opto-liquid level switches, the ELS-1150 is 50% smaller and only 1.38" (35 mm) long. The ELS-1150 offers a wider range of applications, including inputs, through an integrated microprocessor. , output and relay output. The prism is welded to a carbon steel or stainless steel housing to provide 2500 psi (172 bar) withstand voltage. The ELS-1150 series of FM and EP models can have a wider voltage range (ELS- 1150XP). The use of solid state relays allows the
sensor to maintain its price advantage despite the use of carbon steel or stainless steel housings. The compact size makes it ideal for small, stress-resistant containers used in HVAC, air conditioning or hydraulic equipment. The
sensor is a general-purpose product for high, medium and low liquid level monitoring.
ELS-1150SS, the only stainless steel photoelectric level switch on the market, has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for acid, solvent, electrolyzed water, etc. The high temperature version can reach a temperature range of 257°F (125°C).
