636D系列防爆差压变送器能用于监测液体，气体和蒸汽的差压。精度为0.5%，4-20mA的标准输出信号，可选1-5VDC输出。NEMA 4 防护级别的外壳，全316不锈钢的材质能够用于恶劣的场合，可兼容绝大多数介质。它为CSA认证的防爆级别能用于危险场合，还达到美国腐蚀工程师协会的标准能用于海上设施。
