DT系列阀门位置开关具备可靠，磁联动，不锈钢，可任意替换，可用交流或直流等功能，它没有任何移动部件，无需额外成本来处理密封和泄漏的问题。
这个系列的开关采用牢固的全密封的簧片开关，封装在不锈钢外壳中，带一个316不锈钢的磁性管，传感探测距离为0.1" (2.54 mm) 。如果采用大的磁性管，传感距离可到0.5" (12.7 mm).
这个探测开关非常适用于危险或腐蚀性，需要本安防爆的场合。可任意位置安装。如果安装在危险场合，请对照当地规范。这个探测开关的防护为NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 6, 7, 9, 12 和 13; 同时还有防爆认证Class I, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II, Groups E, F and G, Divisions 1, 2 and 3, ， IP68可浸于水中的防护标准。
