Summary of Experience in Mass Flow Meter Applications - Focus on Microfluidic Control Technology
Mass flowmeter was developed in the 1970s. In the world, mass flowmeter is an important means of dynamic metering. In the trade settlement of petrochemical industry, mass flowmeter plays a decisive role, and its measurement error is not only It directly affects the economic benefits of enterprises, and is also responsible for supervising the balance between supply and demand of materials of various production facilities. However, in the actual use process, because the structure, working principle and working condition of the mass flow meter are not familiar to everyone, it often causes the problem of measurement misalignment. The mass flow meter can effectively measure a fluid metered flow in a closed pipe accurately and directly. The mass flow meter has a simple working principle, that is, according to the flow characteristics of the fluid in the closed pipe, that is, the linear motion is also in the rotary motion, and a force proportional to the mass flow is generated, and the corresponding meter is manufactured according to the same. Mass flow meters are being recognized and used by more and more users due to their unique and excellent characteristics, and are now used in many gas flow measurement applications. However, there are many problems and misunderstandings in these applications. Many manufacturers' irresponsible propaganda misleading and product quality defects have caused many obstacles and blind spots in product use, causing many users to misunderstand the thermal gas mass flowmeter. Some blindly think that the thermal flowmeter can measure the gas under all working conditions, and some reject and oppose the thermal flowmeter. In recent years, I have been committed to promoting and publicizing mass flowmeter products, and have contacted many domestic and foreign brands of flowmeters. I have encountered many application problems in actual promotion, accumulated a large number of cases, and summarized these cases and obtained some I am willing to come out and share it with my friends. The construction of domestic mass flowmeter: Domestic mass flow meters have many brands and different shapes, but their internal structures are basically the same from the measurement principle, which are all based on the principle of Coriolis mass flowmeter. The internal structure of the mass flow meter is mainly divided into two parts: the measuring tube and the detecting element: the measuring tube is an elbow with exactly the same tube diameter, and the fluid flows through the elbow; the detecting element mainly comprises three coils (one driving coil, two The detection coil) and a temperature sensor are distributed between the two measuring tubes. The driving coil generates a periodic mechanical shock to the two measuring tubes by electromagnetic oscillation, and the two detecting coils respectively detect the vibration amplitude and period of the measuring tube. Since the vibration of the measuring tube is affected by the weight of the liquid in the measuring tube, the mass of the liquid in the measuring tube can be obtained by measuring the change of the vibration of the measuring tube, so that the instantaneous mass flow and density flowing through the medium of the mass flow meter can be obtained. The use of domestic mass flow meters: At the end of the last century, domestic instrument manufacturers did not fully grasp the mass flowmeter manufacturing technology. The mass flowmeters used in China mainly mainly imported foreign brands, and their expensive prices were only applied to the primary trade settlement, and the secondary measurement of the materials in and out of the production equipment. Due to the large number of instruments, the procurement cost can not be afforded by most enterprises. The volumetric flow meter is generally used for liquid flow metering of materials entering and leaving the production equipment. The volumetric flowmeter measures the volume of liquid material through a fixed volume between the mechanical rotor and the cavity. This mechanical mechanism causes the failure rate of the instrument to be highly accurate and cannot meet the increasingly stringent measurement requirements within the enterprise. Entering the 21st century, domestic brand instruments have entered a period of rapid development. With the continuous research and development of instrument manufacturers, the key technologies and manufacturing processes of mass flow meters have been mastered by many instrument manufacturers, and the performance of domestic mass flow meters has been continuously improved. The low price advantage makes it suitable for large-scale application in the metering of materials in and out of the enterprise, and has become the preferred instrument to replace the volumetric flowmeter.
