Flowmeter Installation Considerations - Focus on Microfluidic Control Technology

The gas mass flow meter uses a US microbridge airflow mass sensor and a pressure sensor. The airflow mass sensor is based on the heat transfer principle that the heat carried away by the mass of the sensor airflow is proportional to its output voltage. The pressure sensor is the pressure of the gas proportional to the output voltage, that is, the gas mass flow rate and the gas pressure are simultaneously converted into an analog signal output.

The function of the digital display totalizer is to convert the airflow quality analog electrical signal output by the airflow quality sensor into a digital signal via A∕D inside the microcontroller. After the arithmetic processing, the mass flow rate of the gas is converted into a volume flow rate in a corresponding standard state or a mass flow rate in a standard state. After the data processing operation, the instantaneous flow rate and the accumulated flow rate are respectively calculated and sent to the four-digit and eight-digit digital tube display.

Flowmeter installation precautions
1. The construction personnel must carefully read the instruction manual before installation.
2. When installing the sensor, you must pay attention to the direction of the airflow of the sensor and place the sensor above the pipe level.
3. Remember: When welding the flow tube and the pipe, it is absolutely not allowed to directly weld the sensor and the flow tube. It must be connected by special welding tool provided by the supplier.
4. It is strictly forbidden to enter liquid, steam, welding residues, metal oxides and debris in the sensor cavity to keep the pipeline clean.
5. The mass sensor can be attached to the pipe after the pipe weld residue has been removed. (The two sides of the steady flow tube, leak-proof gasket, stainless steel nut are fastened together on the sensor body).
6. The valve must be slowly opened when adjusting the air supply to prevent damage to the sensor due to excessive initial airflow.
7. Turn on the mass flowmeter power supply after ventilation.
