Two-way two-way direct-acting solenoid valve features description
Two-position two-way direct-acting solenoid valves (such as 6011 and 6013) are also known as straight-through valves. This valve is a shut-off valve and has two ports: inlet P and outlet A (see Figure 1). The inlet P is connected to a pressurized liquid or gas. When the power is off, the spring and fluid pressure pushes the armature (plunger) toward the seat. At this point, exit A was sealed. After the power is turned on, the armature is lifted under the action of the magnetic force, and the valve is opened.
Features:
■ The flow direction is generally above the valve seat
■ Maximum pressure is related to rated dia
meter and
coil power consumption
■ The pressure generated by the spring is not large (the back pressure is not large)
