Introduction to common fault analysis in gas flowmeter operation
There are five common faults in gas flowmeter operation. The reasons for the analysis and the treatment methods are as follows:
(1) No flow signal output after application, analysis reasons and treatment methods:
1 The power supply is not normal. The processing method is to check the electric circuit line and handle the normal power supply.
2 There is no fluid flow in the pipe. The treatment method is contacted by the process operator.
3 converter failure. Processing method, check converter failure and handle.
4 Input shielding or poor grounding, introducing electromagnetic interference. Approach. Improve shielding and grounding. Eliminate electromagnetic interference.
(2) Output sloshing, analysis of reasons and treatment methods:
1 The fluid in the tube is unstable or produces a pulsating flow. The treatment method is contacted by the process operator.
2 The power supply is unstable. Processing method, check the power line, and handle normal power supply.
3 The interference signal is too strong. Processing methods, checking and processing interference signal sources.
(3) Zero point instability, analysis reasons and treatment methods:
1 zero is not adjusted or adjusted incorrectly. Treatment method. Re-adjust the zero point when the fluid in the pipeline is indeed at rest.
2 The interference signal is too strong. Processing method. Check and process the interference signal source.
3 No flow or low flow in the tube. Treatment method. Check the boring door. Increase flow or small pipe diameter.
(4) The error of the flow measurement value is large, and the reason and treatment method are analyzed:
1 circuit zero drift or range adjustment settings are not appropriate. Processing method, verify the zero point and range, and re-check the parameters.
2 No verification or super cycle operation. Processing method. Send the checkpoint to check the foot.
3 electrodes are contaminated and so on. The treatment method is to clean the side tube segments and the electrodes.
There are two phases or pulsating flows in the tube. Dispose of the method, contact the craftsman. Eliminate the two-phase flow or the pulsating flow.
5 installation disagreement. The gasket protrudes inside the tube. Treatment method, check the installation quality. Finish the inner diameter of the gasket.
6 meter measuring tube and pipe inner diameter difference is large. The treatment method measures the inner diameter of the pipe and corrects the meter factor K.
7 Straight pipe length is not enough. Treatment method, lengthen the straight pipe section or add a flow regulator.
(5) The output signal runs the most. Analysis reasons and treatment methods:
1 converter failure. Processing method, check converter failure and handle.
2 The flow in the pipeline is too large. The treatment method is coordinated with the process operator. If necessary, replace the large-scale instrument.
3 The power supply voltage is too high. Processing method, check the power supply, and handle the normal power supply.
