Is the measurement mass flow selected from a direct mass flow meter or an indirect mass flow meter?

There are two kinds of mass flowmeters: direct and indirect. In the actual application process, different mass flowmeters will be selected according to different requirements! The following describes six methods of selecting mass flowmeters, hoping to bring help to the majority of users. .
 
1. When selecting a mass flow meter, it should first consider whether it is direct or indirect. It can be considered according to the performance characteristics, application range, accuracy requirements and cost of the two mass flow meters.
 
2. If a high-precision volume flowmeter (such as (0.2%-0.5%) R volumetric flowmeter) is used in the first type of combined mass flowmeter, the accuracy is best (0.5%-1%). R between R, usually lower. The second type of combination (dual flow meter) is between (1% and 2.5%) FS.
 
3. For liquid flow measurement, the density-volume flow method, the temperature integrated flow method or the dual flow meter method can be used. Generally, no pressure correction is required, because the influence on the liquid density is negligible in the normal pressure variation range (for example, heavy oil is compressed by 0.45% when the pressure is increased from 0.5 MP to 6 MP) c
 
4. The density-volume-flow method should consider the adaptability of the selected density meter to the measured fluid. There are two ways to select the density of the fluid in the pipeline of the density meter: one is to insert the densitometer directly into the pipeline; the other is Connect the densitometer to the split line of the main pipe.
 
5. Due to the small range of the differential pressure flowmeter in the dual flowmeter method, the range of use is affected, but the dual flowmeter method can solve the problem of not having a suitable density meter when measuring gas.
 
6. When measuring gas, the pressure/temperature-volume flow method is most common.
 
At present, there are many types of such flowmeters, such as flow computer, flow display totalizer with arithmetic function, intelligent flow totalizer, etc., and the functions are very different. When selecting, you should obtain detailed information from the manufacturer. Some models are only suitable for measurements such as air that are closer to the ideal gas, while others are used for natural gas and steam measurements.
