Mass flow meter purge method
1. In order to remove the high-viscosity oil deposits in the mass flowmeter measuring tube, it is recommended that the user use steam purging and cleaning methods.
2, the steam source can be used in the petrochemical plant sweeping steam, with appropriate amount of circulating water, with a steam hose led to the flow meter.
3. The flowmeter should be placed flat on the ground, and the bottom should be properly padded to tilt the flow tube to facilitate the self-flow of the washing material.
4. To ensure safety, the steam at the exit should not exceed 0.5Mpa, and the temperature should not exceed 110°C; the flowmeter junction box should be properly sealed; the washings should be discharged into the special drain for oil.
5. Purge should be carried out step by step: first purging the flange, then purging the flowmeter two measuring tubes in turn; after purging from the inlet, repeat the purging process from the outlet.
6. The purge and cleaning process can be completed only when there is no obvious stain and debris in the eluate.
7. Connect the flowmeter to the transmitter and then conduct the test. The density indication should be approximately zero. If the value is large, it indicates that there is still foreign matter in the measuring tube and it needs to be cleaned again to clean.
8. If it is clear to measure the physicochemical properties of the attached materials in the tube, it is recommended that the user use a suitable solvent to complete the cleaning work.
The mass flow meter directly measures the mass flow rate of the medium passing through the flow meter, and also measures the density of the medium and indirectly measures the temperature of the medium. Since the transmitter is a smart meter with the single chip as the core, more than ten parameters can be derived for the user according to the above three basic quantities. The mass flow meter is flexible, powerful, and cost-effective. It is a new generation flow meter.
