Ultrasonic flowmeter principle - focus on microfluidic control technology

Among the ultrasonic wave flowmeters, the most mature methods are the time difference method and the Doppler method, and the flowmeters of these two methods are mainly applied to closed-tube fluid measurement. The application principle of the time difference method is that when the sound wave propagates in the fluid, the propagation speed of the acoustic wave in the forward direction will increase, the direction of the countercurrent decreases, and the same propagation distance will have different propagation time. The difference between the speeds of propagation is used to determine the flow rate, which is the time difference of propagation velocity method.
The two sensors of the time difference ultrasonic flowmeter send beam acoustic signals from one side of the pipeline to the other side. One sensor is a signaling sensor and the other sensor is an acceptance sensor. Along the same channel, where the art signal is sent in the direction of the flow, the other signal is sent in the direction of your traffic. The fluid force will slow down the acoustic signal sent in the direction of the flow, which in turn will speed up the signal sent in the direction of the flow. The ultrasonic flow meter measures the transmission time of the upstream and downstream signals circulating the flow channel and returns, which has a time difference between the two times. The measured time difference is proportional to the flow rate.
The time difference flow meter is mainly used for cleaning, single liquid.
