The Three Keys of Permeating a Vortex Flowmeter to Measure Natural Gas - Focusing on Microfluidic Control Technology
Three main points of measuring the natural gas by the swirling vortex flowmeter The vortex flowmeter is widely used. Next, we will briefly introduce the requirements of the vortex flowmeter to measure the gas flow conditions, the installation requirements of the flowmeter, and the precautions in the installation and use of the flowmeter. 1. Requirements for airflow conditions (1) The gas to be measured shall be a single-phase, circular tube flow that continuously flows through the pipe. (2) Before the gas flows through the flowmeter, its flow rate must be parallel to the axis of the pipe, and there must be no vortex flow. (3) The airflow should be subsonic and non-pulsating, and its flow rate changes slowly with time. 2. Installation requirements for the flowmeter The precession vortex flowmeter does not have many special requirements for the process installation and use environment, but any type of flow measurement instrument has such a commonality, that is, to avoid vibration and high temperature environment as far as possible from the flow disturbance component (such as compressor , separator, pressure regulating valve, size head and manifold, elbow, etc.), keep the inner wall of the straight pipe section before and after the instrument smooth and straight, and ensure that the measured medium is a clean single-phase fluid. 3, matters needing attention in the installation and use of the flowmeter The spiral vortex flowmeter has no mechanical movable parts, small volume, corrosion resistance and stable performance; it can directly display the working pressure, temperature, flow rate of the medium and the gas volume under standard conditions; the range is wide, the measurement error is small, etc. It is widely used in the production measurement of oil and gas wells and the sales measurement of natural gas. In the field application for many years, the flowmeter has gradually become the first choice meter for small and medium gas metering.
