What is the development of digital mass flow controllers? What are the characteristics?

There are two types of digital mass flow controllers, one is a digital analog compatible product, and the other is a fully digital product. Digital analog compatible products use the same ±15V power supply as analog flowmeters. In addition to analog +5VDC signals, the input and output signals also have RS232/RS485 serial communication ports. Digital Analog Compatible MFCs can be directly replaced with analog MFCs when set to analog without additional changes. Fully digital type products usually use 24VDC single power supply, no analog input and output signals, only fieldbus communication signals.
The digital mass flow controller incorporates an MCU multi-function microprocessor that digitizes the collected flow signal and linearizes the temperature, providing higher accuracy and linearity than analog products. The digital PID control function improves stability and intelligently changes response characteristics. Serial communication makes MFC easier to control computer systems. The digital intelligent MFC gradually replaces the full analog MFC, which is the inevitable trend of technology development.
