How to choose the flow display unit? - Focus on Microfluidic Control Technology
Our flow display devices generally provide three flow display units, namely percentage, SCCM, SLM. It is set according to the requirements of the user before leaving the factory. In percentage mode, the MFM / MFC flow measurement is displayed as a percentage of its full scale. For example, a 50 SCCM MFM/MFC. When the display value is 80%, the actual flow is 40 SCCM. For any size of MFM/MFC, the full scale value is displayed as 100%. This method is versatile and can be equipped with different ranges of MFM/MFC, but it is not intuitive, and some users are not used to it.
According to the SCCM or SLM display, the flow display range is matched with the corresponding MFM/MFC range at the factory, and the displayed value is the flow value when used. It is intuitive, and it is used by most users. After matching, in principle, it can also be used with other ranges of MFM/MFC, but the display value needs to be corrected.
