Control valve for switching on and off the medium
    Usually choose a smaller flow resistance, the channel is straight-through, regulating valve. Such regulating valves include gate valves, globe valves, and plunger valves. Down-closed regulating valve, because the passage is tortuous, the flow resistance is higher than other regulating valves, so it is rarely used. However, where higher flow resistance is allowed, a closed regulating valve can also be selected.
2. Control valve for flow control
   Usually, select the easy to adjust the flow control valve, such as control valve, throttle valve, plunger valve, because its seat size and the opening and closing of the stroke of the king proportional relationship. Rotary (such as plug valves, ball valves, butterfly valves) and wedge valve body (pinch valve, diaphragm control valve) control valve can also be used for throttle control, but usually only applicable to a limited range of control valve diameter. In most cases, people usually change the shape of the disc of the stop valve for throttling. It should be noted that it is extremely unreasonable to change the opening height of the gate valve or globe valve to achieve the throttling effect, because the medium in the pipeline has a high flow rate in the throttling state, and the sealing surface is easily washed away and worn, and the cutting and sealing effects are lost. . For the same reason, it is not reasonable to use a throttle valve as a cutting device.
3. Reversing and diverting control valve
     Depending on the need for reversing and diverting, this valve can have three or more channels, and plug valves and ball valves are suitable. This type of control valve is used for most of the diverter control valves. In some cases, other types of regulating valves are properly connected to each other with two or more, and can also be used as the diverting and diverting medium.
4. Regulating valve for medium with suspended particles
     If the medium has suspended particles, it is most suitable to use a sliding control valve, such as a flat gate valve, with its wiper sliding along the sealing surface.
