Questions that should be paid attention to when installing the control valve

Pay attention to the following issues during the installation of the regulating valve:
1. Before installing the regulating valve, the dust accumulated during storage of the valve must be carefully removed and kept clean during the installation process. Because the dust and foreign matter will damage the valve seat and internal parts. To protect cleanliness, a cover plate can usually be installed at the end of the open flange that is not welded that day.
2. When the regulating valve is installed, the arrow on the valve body should be consistent with the medium flow direction.
3. Regulating valves are precision components. If they are stressed by the deformation of the pipeline, they will disrupt normal operation. Therefore, the flange should be installed perpendicular to the pipeline and positioned accurately to avoid deformation of the pipeline. And, the pipeline should be properly supported to prevent it from bending and deforming under the weight of the valve.
4. Special care must be taken when the control valve is welded to the pipeline. If the control valve and the pipe are not carefully welded and the stress is not eliminated, deformation will occur. Welding slag must be strictly prevented from splashing into the valve during welding. The presence of welding slag will damage the performance of the valve. If the spatter directly splashes on the valve core, it will directly affect the operation of the regulating valve, and will seriously damage the valve core and valve seat.
5. During the pressure test and blowout of the pipeline, the regulating valve should be removed and connected with corresponding straight pipe sections to prevent debris such as welding slag and iron cutting from getting stuck between the valve core and the valve seat. The flange end of the removed control valve opening should be firmly wrapped with plastic cloth.
