Introduction of High-end Valve Innovation Accelerated in Domestic Valve Industry

After the State Council issued the Opinions on Accelerating the Revitalization of Equipment Manufacturing Industry, the equipment manufacturing industry was mobilized for comprehensive revival. To vigorously develop the high-end equipment manufacturing industry, we need to promote it in many aspects, such as R&D strength, manufacturing industry, and even parts. The valve industry is also developing in the direction of refinement, laying the foundation for the high-end equipment manufacturing. To this end, the relevant departments put forward plans to complete the localization of large-scale equipment valves. In this proposal, the localization of MW nuclear power station shut-in valves and Mt large-scale ethylene equipment valves was completed. Through introducing critical skills and self-development, many preferential laws and policies were given to the localization of valves. Having obtained gratifying hope.

Low-end valves can't support the future. Major research and development is the important way out for future industrial development. We should make every effort to promote the construction of scientific and technological innovation center of valve automation, build a platform for transformation and upgrading of traditional valve industry, develop high-quality and sophisticated valve products such as bellows globe valves, control valves and control valves, and speed up the industry dragon at the same time. The training speed of leading enterprises, the establishment of national brands with world influence, and the expansion and strengthening of China's valve industry.

Although the manufacturers of valve industry in China are gradually increasing their research and development efforts, the backwardness of product technology makes the competitiveness weak, and the valve varieties produced can only meet about 70% of the market demand. The shortage of low pressure large caliber valves and the contradiction between production and demand in the variety and material of high and medium pressure valves urgently need domestic valve enterprises to speed up research, development and expansion. However, the valve enterprises in China are mainly low-level, small-scale, family workshop-based enterprises. This is a great limitation and bottleneck for the future development of the valve industry in China.

Increasing investment in innovation, improving R&D capability, deepening manufacturing process and vigorously developing high-end valve manufacturing are the future development path of domestic valve industry. Domestic enterprises need to accelerate the pace of upgrading and transformation to better meet the needs of China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry during the 12th Five-Year Plan period.
