There are many kinds of solenoid valve sealing materials, including fluoro rubber, butadiene rubber, three Yuan Yibing rubber, silicone rubber, tetrafluoroethylene, high temperature plastic, graphite, ceramics and so on. The most common four kinds are fluoro rubber, Ding Qing rubber, three ethylene propylene rubber, and the following are the main types of the solenoid valve sealing material. Solenoid valve seal material 1: VITON fluoro rubber (FKM)
The rubber containing fluorine in the molecule has various types according to the fluorine content, that is, the monomer structure. At present, the fluorine rubber of the six fluoridation system is first listed by the DuPont Co for "VITON" commodity name.  Chemical resistance, most of the oil and solvent (except for ketone, ester), weatherability and ozone resistance are all good, but the cold resistance is bad. Generally, it is widely used in the steam engine car, the second class, the chemical plant seal, the temperature range is -20 to 260 C, the low temperature type can be applied to -40 C when the low temperature requirement is used, and the price is higher.

By emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile, NBR is mainly produced by low temperature emulsion polymerization. It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesive force. Its disadvantages are poor resistance to low temperature, poor ozone resistance, poor electrical properties and low elasticity.
In addition, it also has good water resistance, air tightness and excellent bonding properties. It is widely used in all kinds of oil resistant rubber products, various oil washers, gaskets, sleeves, soft packaging, soft rubber hose, printing and dyeing rubber roll, cable rubber and so on. It has become a necessary elastic material in automobile, aviation, petroleum, copying and other industries.
Nitrile rubber has excellent oil resistance and its oil resistance is second only to polysulfide rubber and fluorine rubber, and it has both wear resistance and air tightness. The disadvantage of Ding Qing rubber is that it is not resistant to ozone and aromatic, halogenated hydrocarbons, ketones and ester solvents, and is not suitable for insulating materials.
Main uses
NBR is most widely used in the sealing of solenoid valves. It is mainly used in producing oil resistant products, such as oil pipe, tape, rubber diaphragm and large oil sac. It is often used in making all kinds of oil resistant molding products, such as O ring, oil seal, leather bowl, diaphragm, valve, bellows, etc., and also used for making rubber plates and wear resistant parts.

Three yuan ethylene propylene rubber is ethylene, propylene and non conjugated dienes three yuan copolymer, began commercial production in 1963. The annual consumption of the world is 800 thousand tons. The most important feature of EPDM is its superior oxidation resistance, ozone resistance and corrosion resistance. As three ethylene propylene rubber belongs to the family of polyolefin, it has excellent vulcanization characteristics. Of all rubber, EPDM has the lowest specific gravity. It absorbs a lot of fillers and oil and has little influence on its properties. Therefore, low cost rubber compounds can be produced.
Molecular structure and properties
Three yuan ethylene propylene is ethylene, propylene and non conjugated dienes three yuan copolymer. Dienes have special structures, and only one of the two bonds can be copolymerized. Unsaturated double bonds are mainly used as intersections. Another unsaturated polymer will not become the main chain of the polymer, but will become the side chain. The main polymer chain of three yuan ethylene propylene is completely saturated. This feature enables three yuan ethylene propylene to resist heat, light and oxygen, especially ozone. Three ethylene glycol is essentially non-polar, resistant to polar solutions and chemicals, low water absorption and good insulation properties.

Silicone rubber is synthesized with ferric chloride as catalyst. In 1945, silicone rubber products came out. In 1948, the silicone rubber with high specific surface area was successfully developed by gas phase silica, which made the performance of silicon rubber jump to the practical stage, and laid the foundation of the modern silicone rubber production technology. Silicone rubber has good permeability and oxygen permeability is the highest among synthetic polymers. In addition, silicone rubber is also inert and does not lead to clotting characteristics. Therefore, it is widely used in valves such as sanitary solenoid valves.
