Inspection of seal surface defects is important. Seals are a small industry in China's industrial production, and many people do not know much about seals. In fact, the seals are small, but they are used in conjunction with large-scale industrial equipment. The surface processing quality (mainly surface defects) directly determines the sealing and reliability of the equipment. In the industrial engineering production, the rubber seal is easily deformed and easily damaged. In the environment where leakage is not allowed, in order to ensure its quality, it is particularly important to perform quality inspection on the surface before use. Mainly for the detection of the annular surface of the seal, it is required to detect the defects and identify them. In view of the insufficiency of manual detection, long detection period, low precision, and vulnerability to human factors control, the author proposes a machine vision-based detection technology method, which uses machines instead of human eyes to make measurements and judgments, and improves detection. Speed and precision to ensure the quality of rubber seals, using MATLAB-based image processing methods for experimental analysis.
