Description of the use characteristics of electromagnetic flowmeter
The electromagnetic flowmeter has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, high reliability, good stability, complete functions and long service life. It is developed according to the standard manufacturing system, and the advanced design concept ensures the high precision and high reliability of the product. The measuring channel of the electromagnetic flowmeter is a smooth straight pipe with an unobstructed flow detecting component. It is suitable for measuring liquid-solid two-phase fluids containing solid particles or fibers, such as pulp, coal water slurry, slurry, mud and sewage, because it is not suitable for blocking. Since the induced voltage signal is formed in the entire magnetic field-filled space and is the average value on the pipe surface, the sensor requires a short straight pipe section and a pipe diameter of 5 times. The measurement accuracy of the electromagnetic flowmeter is not affected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity. The sensor induced voltage signal has a linear relationship with the average flow velocity, so the measurement accuracy is high. It does not produce pressure loss due to the detection of flow rate. The resistance of the meter is only the resistance of the pipeline of the same length, and the energy saving effect is remarkable. It is most suitable for large diameter water supply pipelines requiring low resistance loss. In the electromagnetic flow sensor part, only the inner liner and the electrode are in contact with the liquid to be tested. As long as the electrode and the lining material are properly selected, corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be achieved. However, the use of electromagnetic flowmeters has some limitations, such as the inability to measure gases, vapors, and liquids containing large bubbles; it is not possible to measure liquids with very low conductivity, such as petroleum products and organic solvents. Another point, due to the limitations of lining materials and electrical insulation materials, cannot be used to measure liquids at higher temperatures. Electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used in sewage, fluorine chemical, production water, water industry, medicine, steel and other industries. It is a mature, easy to use and cost-effective flow meter.
