Description of the working principle and classification of the rodless cylinder

Norgren rodless cylinders are divided into magnetic coupling rodless cylinders and mechanical contact rodless cylinders. A rodless cylinder is a cylinder that uses a piston to directly or externally connect to an externally executed machine and causes it to follow the piston to reciprocate. The biggest advantage of this type of cylinder is that it saves installation space.

(1) Magnetic coupleless rod cylinder: The piston moves the moving body outside the cylinder body synchronously by magnetic force. Its working principle: install a set of high-strength magnetic permanent magnets on the piston. The magnetic lines of force pass through the thin-walled cylinder and the other set of magnetic rings that are placed outside. Since the two sets of magnetic rings have opposite magnetic properties, they have strong suction. When the piston is pushed by the air pressure in the cylinder, the magnetic ring sleeve outside the cylinder is moved together under the action of the magnetic force. The thrust of the cylinder piston must be adapted to the suction of the magnetic ring.

(2) Mechanical contact type rodless cylinder There is a groove in the axial direction of the cylinder cylinder tube, and the piston and Shangzhi move in the upper part of the groove. In order to prevent leakage and dustproof, the stainless steel sealing tape and the dustproof stainless steel belt are fixed on the cylinder heads at both ends of the opening, and the piston frame passes through the groove to connect the piston with Shangzhi. The piston is connected with Shangzhi to drive the reciprocating motion of the actuator fixed on Shangzhi.
