Rubber diaphragms are mainly used in valves, regulators, automatic mechanical followers, switches, and counters for flow, pressure, differential, level, and volumetric thermal compensation. Its advantages are high work reliability, good compoundness, long working life, and low cost.
In low pressure operation, the force generated by the cloth reinforcing membrane may become superfluous. For this kind of work, it is entirely possible to have rubber diaphragms of uniform elastically all-rubber construction. These diaphragms can also provide the same degree of sturdiness that the diaphragms have with the cloth, and at the same time increase the economic efficiency of the use of a uniform elastic construction.
The uniform elastic structure can be applied to various rubbers, with some strength fabrics interposed therebetween, such as nylon, polyester fabrics, and even aramid fabrics.
The rubber diaphragm has a long service life, can accurately perform operations in synchronization with other control components, and packages pulsed compressed air. Even under extremely harsh working conditions, it can guarantee its normal operation and long service life.
