5 vortex flowmeter failure reasons analysis description

What are the reasons for the failure of the vortex flowmeter? Below is a small series to help you analyze and analyze.
 
1. The instrument grounding wire does not meet the specifications of the vortex flowmeter supplier, so 50Hz interference in the strong power supply will enter. When the normal signal is higher than 50Hz, the normal signal is output; otherwise, the wrong signal will be output.
 
2. The pressure line during the wiring of the instrument is not strong, resulting in intermittent signals during transmission.
 
Due to the high temperature and high humidity in the coke oven gas, water will be present during the gas transfer process. The air flow causes the water to fluctuate back and forth, creating a ripple flow. When the vortex flow sensor is in a fluid state, the output data is large or small and cannot reflect the production status at all.
 
4. Since the coke oven gas contains a large amount of impurities and is easily crystallized, impurities are condensed in the sensor head, resulting in measurement errors. When the temperature rises, the impurities evaporate, the sensitivity increases, and the signal increases; instead, it drops. This leads to data instability.
 
5. Vortex flowmeters are not suitable for installation in strong vibration situations, well-known carriers, but in the case of frequent changes in the magnetic field, the vortex flow sensor can measure higher than normal signal output. Practice has proved that in the field without airflow, when the vortex flow sensor is in the change of the magnetic field at the moment of the change of the magnetic field, the eddy current sensor can sense the wrong signal and output. When the instrument is in the stable magnetic field, the instrument will output the normal signal.
