Steam is the most widely used thermal medium, and it is an important secondary energy. The measurement of steam flow is extensive, which is of great significance for strengthening management, fair trade, energy saving and economic benefit. If the steam flow measurement method is subdivided according to the working principle, it can be divided into two types: direct mass flow meter and derivation type (also called indirect) mass flow meter. The former directly detects the mass function as a function of mass flow; the latter orifice flowmeter and other variable measuring instruments, or two different measuring principle flowmeters, are calculated to obtain mass flow.
    The vast majority of steam mass electromagnetic flowmeters that are widely used today are still deduced. Among them, the steam mass flowmeter with the throttling differential pressure flowmeter and the vortex flowmeter as the core is the mainstream. These two methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, and have good complementarity. In the differential pressure flowmeter, the linear orifice plate has a certain market share due to its wide range and good stability. In addition, the Coriolis mass flowmeter, the constant velocity tube flowmeter, the ultrasonic gauge It is also used in steam flow measurement.
