Intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter failure and solution
The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter has the features of complete functions, practical display, intuitive display and convenient operation, which makes important development in industry and other fields. However, due to various factors, the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter may cause measurement results to be inaccurate and cause faults and errors. Therefore, the following small series will introduce the fault of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter and its solution: General faults of intelligent electromagnetic flowmeters and their solutions:
First, the liquid does not flow and has an output: the signal transmission cable is connected to the converter with an open circuit, the signal cable to the electrode connection is broken, the electrode surface is contaminated or the insulating layer is deposited, the grounding is poor or the circuit is broken.
Second, the liquid flow has no output: the signal transmission cable between the converter and the converter has two core wires connected, the power supply is not connected or the contact is poor, and the sensor instrument pipeline, the outer casing and the end surface have leakage.
Solution:
1. Rewinding the head;
2. Connect the power supply and keep in good contact;
Third, the output is unstable: the flow field is unstable; the liquid passing through the sensor contains gas, large solid block; the electrical connection is virtual; the grounding is poor; the electrode leaks
Fourth, the error is too large: 1. Zero is too high; 2. Not completely filled with liquid; 3. Power supply distortion is too large; 4. Poor grounding.
Solution:
1. Readjust the zero point;
2. Improve pipeline conditions, the sensor is always filled with liquid;
3. Improve the power supply conditions and meet the normal working conditions;
4, pick up the ground wire
Through the fault of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter and its solution, we can know that the maintenance of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is not enough, so that the fault continues. Such a long-term, it is easy to reduce the performance of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter, and will also affect its service life, so it is necessary to strengthen the maintenance of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter:
1. Always observe the sensor power cable and transmission cable (or wire) for damage and aging, and protect the rubber sheath outside the cable.
2. Periodically (usually for half a year) scrub the electrode surface with a soft cloth to remove dirt or deposits.
3. Remove debris from the straight pipe section upstream of the sensor.
