Technical characteristics and scope of application of guided wave radar level gauge

The guided wave radar level gauge is a microwave level gauge, which is an application of microwave (radar) positioning technology. It transmits energy waves through a device that can emit energy waves (generally pulse signals). The energy waves are transmitted in the waveguide, the energy waves are reflected by the obstacles, and the reflected energy waves are transmitted by the waveguide to the receiving device, and then The receiving device receives the reflected signal. The change of the level is determined according to the time difference of the measurement process of the energy wave. The microwave signal is processed by the electronic device and finally converted into an electrical signal related to the level.
The energy radiation level is low, and the device uses energy waves that are pulse energy waves (the frequency is generally lower than the smart radar level gauge). Generally, the pulse energy wave has a maximum pulse energy of about 1 mW (average power is about 1 μW), and does not cause radiation damage to other equipment and personnel.
Scope and characteristics:
      The guided wave microwave level meter is used for continuous contact measurement of medium with relatively small dielectric constant such as liquid, slurry and granular material, and is suitable for occasions where temperature, pressure change is large, and inert gas or steam exists.
