Instrument-controlled level gauges - General requirements - Focus on microfluidic control technology
1 The range of the instrument should generally be such that the normal liquid level is about 50% of the full scale of the instrument. 2 liquid level measurement is generally used differential pressure, buoyancy or float type instrument. When it can not meet the requirements, capacitive, resistive and other instruments can be used. 3 When signal transmission is required, instruments with analog or digital conversion can be selected. 4 When measuring the level of the boiler drum with a differential pressure meter, the dual chamber balance vessel used should be temperature compensated. 5 Floating cylinder measuring instruments should be used in the following places: (1) The measurement range is within 2m, and the specific liquid level with a density difference of 0.5 to 1.5 is continuously measured. (2) The measurement range is within 1.2m, and the continuous measurement is performed at a liquid interface with a density difference of 0.1 to 0.5. 6Float type measuring instrument, suitable for continuous measurement and volume measurement of the liquid level of the large-scale storage tank cleaning liquid, as well as the bit type measurement of the liquid level of the various tank cleaning liquids. 7 Dirty and viscous liquids and frozen liquids at ambient temperatures should not be used with float gauges. 8 Capacitance measuring instruments are suitable for continuous measurement and position measurement of corrosive liquids. 9 Capacitance measuring instrument signal line should use shielded extension cable or take other measures against electromagnetic interference. 10 For electrical level measurement, resistance measuring instruments can be used.
