How to choose solenoid valve?
1. Task/Output Requirements: A. Type of Fluid Characteristics: Gas/Liquid. Temperature. Viscosity. Corrosivity, etc. B. Flow Rate/Difference in Pressure: Flow rate to be reached when the valve is opened and pressure difference to overcome when closing. Extreme pressure difference and working pressure difference. C. Sealing property: refers to the sealing performance when the valve is closed. The measurement method can use the leakage amount in a unit time. The gas valve can also measure the pressure drop of a sealed volume at a time. Load cycle: the ratio of valve opening/closing time (the solenoid valve is energized/de-energized). This sum determines the temperature rise of the solenoid valve. The temperature rise of the solenoid valve and the ambient temperature determine the choice of solenoid valve insulation rating. ( Insulation class=°C A=105 E=120 B=130 F=155 H=180 N=200 C=220+) 2. Input condition: The input current waveform with different current type and power determines the operation mode of the solenoid valve: Applications include: AC/DC (constant voltage source/constant current source/battery/dry cell//DC generator/capacitor)/rectification filter method, etc. Diode Rectification: If the solenoid valve uses AC power, a rectifier is required to communicate Converted to DC. Rectifiers should be designed to be fully banded The peak switching voltage of the rectifier element is three times that of the solenoid valve. The current (power) and the output power are approximately proportional to each other within a certain range. When the power is large enough to reach a certain degree, the solenoid valve will reach magnetic saturation. No longer increase, in addition, the power is proportional to the temperature rise. 3. Environmental factors and life: Environmental conditions and life expectancy are important considerations in the use of different materials or protection treatments for electromagnets. Environmental factors include: temperature/humidity/magnetic field/electric field / Contaminated corrosive gas. Liquid or dust / vibration and vibration shock, etc. 4. Installation and power connection: Installation methods are generally: external screw / solenoid shell thread. Card slot embedded / other. Power connection: lead / Lead + Terminal / 187 Plug Pin / Other.
