The solenoid valve has many advantages: whether the magnetic field of the electromagnet is controlled by through or off current; the intensity of the magnetic field can be controlled by the strength of the current or the number of turns of the coil (or the size of the iron core); its magnetic pole can be controlled by the direction of changing the current and so on.

1, first check whether the solenoid valve is consistent with the selection parameters, such as power supply voltage, medium pressure, pressure difference, especially power supply, if wrong, will burn the coil. The supply voltage should meet the rated voltage and voltage fluctuation range: AC +10%~-15%, DC +10%~-10%.

2, if the medium will play a water hammer phenomenon, then we should choose a solenoid valve with water hammer function or take corresponding preventive measures.

3, do not let the solenoid valve for long time in the state of electricity, so it is easy to reduce the service life of the coil or even burn the coil, that is to say, often open, often closed solenoid valves can not be used interchangeably.

4, steam inlet valve should be equipped with a trap, the nozzle should be tilted.

5, before the takeover, the pipeline should be flushed, and the metal powder and the sealing material residue, rust scale and so on should be removed. We should pay attention to the cleanliness of the medium. If the dust and impurities in the medium are hamper the normal operation of the solenoid valve, filters or strainers should be installed in the pipes.

6. The electromagnetic coil components of the general solenoid valve should be vertically upwards and erected vertically on the ground level. If they are installed on side by side by space restrictions or working conditions, it should be put forward at the time of selection and ordering. Otherwise, the solenoid valve may not work properly.

7. Solenoid valve should be manually cut off before and after the valve. At the same time, bypass should be installed to facilitate the maintenance of solenoid valve in case of failure.

8, solenoid valve is generally oriented, and can not be reversed, usually on the valve body to point out the direction of media flow, installation, according to the direction of instructions. However, it can be reversed in vacuum pipelines or special cases.
