Analysis of the causes of electromagnet heating
Many electromagnet users found the phenomenon that the electromagnet was severely heated and the magnetic force decreased. It will be better to reduce the temperature of the electromagnet. What is the cause of this? How should I put an end to such a thing?
First, the cause of fever.
1.
When the voltage is certain, the resistance is too small.
The relationship between resistance, voltage and current is U=RI. When the voltage is constant, the smaller the resistance, the greater the current. The greater the current passing through the unit section, the greater the heat of the enameled wire. The higher the
coil is, the higher the resistance will be, and the smaller the current will be. As a result, the suction of the electromagnet will decrease. When it's cool, it will recover again.
2, material problem. Generally speaking, the enameled wire is a copper enameled wire. That is to say, the conductor is copper. But copper is also divided into new copper and recycled copper. The recovery of copper impurities is more, and the
conductivity is less than that of the new copper. The heat is also large under the same condition. There is also a copper clad aluminum wire, which is less resistant to tensile fatigue than copper wire. The conduction properties of impurities and aluminum lead to severe heat.
3. Design of electromagnet mechanism
Because the air gap of the
coil is too large and the magnetic core line of the iron core is not enough, the design resistance of the core is too large, which will cause serious heat. These fever are all lost. It does not convert energy into true need.
