The electric shut-off valve uses a valve flap to move up and down along the center line of the valve seat channel to control the opening and closing of the pipeline. It is suitable for opening and closing devices on pipelines such as steam and water. It is generally not suitable for mediums with large viscosity, particles, easy coking, and easy precipitation. .

1. Piping should be cleaned before installation to prevent debris from damaging the sealing surface and causing valve leakage accidents. The shut-off valve can be installed vertically on the pipeline or horizontally, but it must not be installed upside down. It should be installed on the pipeline according to the medium flow direction arrow shown on the valve body. Handwheels and transmission mechanisms are not allowed to be used for lifting.
2. Before installation, check whether the valve product is jammed, whether the bolts and nuts are loose, and whether the packing is tight; remove the dust and debris in the valve product cavity, sealing surface and pipeline to avoid affecting the sealing performance. installation.
3. In the stuffing box of the valve, there are two layers of corrugated packing and flexible graphite packing in the middle. Tighten the bolts and nuts at the packing gland before putting into operation to prevent the packing from being damaged by the medium and causing serious leakage during operation. During operation, it is found that there is bubbling or slight leakage at the stuffing box, and the joint bolts and nuts at the stuffing gland must be tightened again in time until it does not leak.
4. When welding the valve and pipeline, the welding must be carried out in strict accordance with the welding specifications and welding procedures provided by the manufacturer; the valve and the adjacent pipes must be supported in advance to prevent the stress on the pipeline from being transmitted to the valve body when the pipeline and the valve are welded. Welding and stress relief procedures are to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
5. For electric cut-off valve, you can choose the drive device provided by multiple drive device manufacturers. Please read the product manual provided by the drive device manufacturer carefully before commissioning; after wiring, manually adjust the valve flap to the middle position, and jog after power on. Pay attention to whether the phase line is correct. After confirming that the phase line is correct, perform debugging according to the instruction manual provided by the manufacturer. When debugging, please adjust the actual stroke according to 80% of the theoretical stroke of the valve, and use torque control to close and open the valve.
6. The valve is installed without disassembly. However, if the time from delivery to installation and operation exceeds six months, the valve should be disassembled, cleaned, reassembled and debugged as required in the general plan before installation, and the sealing surface must be carefully inspected. Any damage must be repaired again.
7. Do not try to remove the packing gland nut or remove the bonnet, handwheel assembly and tighten the compression nut to prevent leakage at the pressure seal when the valve is under pressure. Special attention should be paid to the danger of overpressure in any direction after the valve is shut off. This overpressure may be caused by the thermal expansion of the water or flowing medium remaining in the valve. Make sure that measures are taken to prevent this from happening when the equipment is used and / or operated.
