Instructions for cleaning and assembly of flat gate valve
The flat gate valve has two structures of casting and welding. The valve seat is sealed with an O-ring seal and a floating valve seat structure that applies a pre-tightening force to seal the inlet and outlet of the valve in both directions; and the opening and closing torque of this structure is only 1/2 of that of ordinary valves, which can easily open and close the valve. The valve seat is inlaid with PTFE on the sealing surface, which has the double sealing of PTFE to metal and metal to metal. The PTFE sealing surface can remove dirt from the gate at the same time. When the valve is fully opened, the channel is smooth and straight, the flow resistance coefficient is very small, there is no pressure loss, and the pipeline can be cleaned through the wool ball.
I. Cleaning steps of flat gate valve
1. According to the processing requirements, some parts need to be polished, and the surface must not have processing burrs.
2. All parts are degreased;
3. Pickling and passivation after degreasing, the cleaning product does not contain phosphorus;
4. Rinse with pure water after pickling and purification, there should be no chemical residue, this step is omitted for carbon steel parts;
5. Wipe dry one by one with a non-woven fabric, do not leave the surface of the parts such as wire hair, or blow dry with clean nitrogen;
6. Wipe each component with non-woven cloth or precision filter paper and analyze pure alcohol until there is no dirty color.
2, assembly requirements of flat gate valve
1. The installation workshop must be clean or a temporary clean area should be set up, such as using a newly purchased color strip or plastic film to prevent dust from entering during the installation process;
2. The assembler must wear clean cotton work clothes, wear a cotton cap, hair must not leak, wear clean shoes, wear plastic gloves, and degrease;
3. Assembly tools must be degreased and cleaned before assembly to ensure cleanliness.
