Difference between WIKA pressure sensor and WIKA pressure transmitter

WIKA sensors convert non-electrical physical quantities such as temperature, pressure, liquid level, materials, gas and other performance indicators into electrical signals or transmit physical quantity indicators such as pressure and liquid level directly to the transmitter. The transmitter enhances the weak electrical signal collected by the sensor to facilitate the transfer or launch of the steering element. Or change the signal input by the sensor into an electrical signal and enhance the signal source for remote measurement and manipulation. The amount of imitation can also be changed to a digital quantity according to requirements. The sensor and transmitter together form an automatically controlled monitoring signal source. Different physical indicators There are different sensors and corresponding transmitters to correspond one-to-one.
The WIKA pressure sensor is actually a component of a pressure transmitter. The pressure signal measured by the WIKA pressure sensor is converted to a standard signal output. A pressure sensor generally refers to a sensitive component that converts a varying pressure signal into a correspondingly varying resistance or capacitance signal. However, the pressure transmitter is a complete circuit unit for measuring pressure composed of a pressure sensitive element and a conditioning circuit, and generally can directly output a standard voltage signal or a current signal linearly related to the pressure.
The WIKA sensor changes the physical quantity to be measured into another physical quantity that can be read and processed. In modern control, this physical quantity is the electrical signal; the transmitter is to change the electrical signal of the primary sensor. Change to a standard electrical signal, such as current signal 4--20mA, 0--20mA, voltage signal 0--10V, 1--5V. The primary pressure sensor is a pressure-induced millivolt signal change. If the sensor now has an extended shaping circuit that outputs a standard current or voltage signal, such a sensor can also be called a pressure transmitter; it is called pressure. Transmitter, because the previous pressure sensor is output mA signal, most modern pressure sensors have now directly output the specification signal, so today's pressure sensor and pressure transmitter may be one.
