The purpose of the vacuum pump:

1. Main pump: A vacuum pump used to obtain the required degree of vacuum in a vacuum system.

2. Rough pump: Starting from atmospheric pressure, reduce the pressure of the system to the vacuum pump where another pumping system starts to work.

3. Foreline pump: A vacuum pump used to maintain the pre-stage pressure of another pump below its highest permissible pre-stage pressure. The foreline pump can also be used as a rough pump.

4. Maintaining the pump: A low-pressure auxiliary foreline pump is installed in the vacuum system to maintain the low-pressure vacuum pump required for the main pump to operate normally or to maintain the evacuated container.

5. Rough (low) vacuum pump: A vacuum pump that starts at atmospheric pressure and reduces the pressure of the vessel and operates in a low vacuum range.

6. High vacuum pump: Vacuum pump working in high vacuum range.

7. Ultra-high vacuum pump: Vacuum pump working in the ultra-high vacuum range.

8. Booster pump: A vacuum pump (such as a mechanical booster pump and an oil booster pump) installed between a high vacuum pump and a low vacuum pump to increase the pumping capacity of the pumping system in the intermediate pressure range or to reduce the capacity of the foreline pump. Wait).

Process types for various vacuum pumps:

1. Water ring vacuum pump: suitable for vacuum concentration, vacuum dehydration, vacuum decolorization, vacuum drying, vacuum preservation, vacuum storage, vacuum conveying, vacuum forming and other processes.

2, reciprocating vacuum pump: suitable for vacuum distillation, vacuum concentration, vacuum impregnation, vacuum filtration, vacuum modeling, vacuum drying, steel liquid vacuum processing. The reciprocating vacuum pump and the water ring vacuum pump are basically the same. However, the reciprocating vacuum pump cannot directly pump steam. When it is necessary to pump steam, it must be equipped with a cold trap and cooled by a refrigeration compressor system.

3, oil seal mechanical vacuum pump (including slide valve pump, rotary vane pump, fixed film pump): suitable for vacuum distillation, vacuum drying, vacuum impregnation, vacuum sintering, vacuum insulation, vacuum brazing, vacuum coating, vacuum heat treatment and other processes. At present, the oil seal mechanical vacuum pump is used as a vacuum pump for direct discharge of the atmosphere, and the amount used is large.

4, Roots vacuum pump (mechanical booster pump): suitable for vacuum sintering, vacuum brazing, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying, vacuum coating, vacuum conveying, vacuum smelting and other processes. Most Roots pumps are not used in direct air and require a rotary vane pump or a slide pump as the foreline pump. Wet Roots pumps can be used directly in the atmosphere and are used primarily in the paper industry.

5, oil booster pump: suitable for vacuum smelting, vacuum sintering, vacuum brazing, vacuum heat treatment and other processes. It is similar to a mechanical booster pump and cannot be discharged directly into the atmosphere. It must be used as a foreline pump with a rotary vane pump or a slide valve pump.

6, oil diffusion pump: suitable for vacuum coating, vacuum heat treatment, vacuum smelting, vacuum purification, vacuum analysis equipment, vacuum leak detector, production of electric vacuum devices, space simulation, accelerator vacuum system and other processes. It is suitable for pumping high vacuum and cannot be discharged directly into the atmosphere. It must be equipped with a foreline pump.

7. Dry vacuum pump (roar pump, scroll pump, claw pump): Suitable for vacuum process without oil cleaning, such as semiconductor industry, electronics industry, chemical industry, etc. Straight out the atmosphere.

8. Adsorption pump: It is suitable for use in various vacuum electronic devices, integrated circuits, analytical instruments, surface instruments, and various vacuum systems requiring clean and oil-free.

9, titanium pump (sputter ion pump, sublimation pump): suitable for vacuum coating, electric vacuum devices, large-scale integrated circuits, surface physics, surface chemistry, thermonuclear physics, plasma physics, superconducting technology and other work.

10. Molecular pump: It is suitable for vacuum coating, integrated circuit, surface physics, surface chemistry, plasma physics, optical instruments, thermonuclear reaction, aerospace technology, etc.

11, water jet pump: suitable for vacuum dumping, vacuum conveying, chemical, chemical fiber, pharmaceutical, paint, grease, paper, caustic soda, sugar, food, brick, vacuum deoxidation and other industrial fields.
