Before installation, the solenoid valve should be inspected, check the specifications and models for damage, especially for the valve stem. Also turn a few times to see if it is skewed, because it is the most vulnerable to hitting the valve stem during transportation. Also remove debris from the valve.
When the solenoid valve is lifted, the rope should not be attached to the handwheel or the valve stem to avoid damage to these parts and should be attached to the flange. Be sure to clean the piping connected to the solenoid valve. Compressed air can be used to blow off iron oxide
chips, mud sand, welding slag and other debris. These debris not only easily scratch the sealing surface of the solenoid valve, but when installing the screw solenoid valve, the sealing packing should be wrapped on the pipe thread, and not in the solenoid valve, so as to avoid the valve memory and affect the circulation of the medium.
When installing the flange solenoid valve, pay attention to tightening the bolt symmetrically and evenly. The solenoid valve flange and the pipe flange must be parallel, and the clearance is reasonable, so as to avoid excessive pressure or even cracking of the solenoid valve. Pay particular attention to brittle materials and solenoid valves that are not strong enough. The solenoid valve to be welded to the pipe shall be spot welded first, then the closing member shall be fully opened and then welded.
Solenoid valve installation precautions:
1. First check whether the solenoid valve is consistent with the selection para
meters, such as power supply voltage, medium pressure, differential pressure, etc., especially the power supply. If it is wrong, it will burn the
coil. The power supply voltage should meet the rated voltage and voltage fluctuation range: AC +10%~-15%, DC +10%~-10%, usually the
coil assembly should not be disassembled.
2. The pipe should be flushed before the pipe is taken, and the metal powder and the sealing material residue and rust scale in the pipe should be removed. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the medium. If the medium is mixed with dust and impurities, etc., it will interfere with the normal operation of the solenoid valve. The
filter or
filter should be installed in the pipeline.
3. The electromagnetic
coil components of the general solenoid valve should be vertically upright and installed vertically on the horizontal level of the pipeline. If it is subject to space restrictions or working conditions, it must be installed on the side, and it should be submitted at the time of order selection. Failure to do so may result in the solenoid valve not working properly.
4. Manually cut off the valve before and after the solenoid valve, and bypass should be provided to facilitate the maintenance of the solenoid valve in case of failure.
5, the solenoid valve is generally oriented, can not be reversed, usually used on the valve body → indicate the direction of media flow, installation should be in accordance with the direction of → indication. However, it can be reversed in vacuum lines or in special cases.
6. If the medium will cause water hammer, then you should choose the solenoid valve with the function of waterproof hammer or take corresponding precautions.
7. Try not to let the solenoid valve be energized for a long time. This will easily reduce the life of the
coil or even burn out the
coil. That is to say, the normally open and normally closed solenoid valves are not interchangeable.
8. The steam inlet side of the solenoid valve should be equipped with a steam trap, where the nozzle should be tilted.
