Five major notes on turbine flowmeter installation instructions
5 major considerations for turbine flow
meter pipe installation
1. The
sensor should be installed in a place that is easy to maintain, no vibration of the pipeline, no strong electromagnetic interference and thermal radiation;
2, horizontal installation of the
sensor requires that the pipeline should not have a visually detectable tilt (usually within 5 °), the vertical deviation of the vertical installation
sensor pipeline should also be less than 5 °. In places where it is not possible to stay, the shut-off valve of the bypass pipe shall be installed, and the bypass pipe shall be ensured without leakage during the measurement;
3. In the newly laid pipeline installation
sensor, first connect a short tube to replace the
sensor. After the “sweep line” is completed, confirm that the pipeline is cleaned and the
sensor is officially installed.
4. If the fluid contains impurities, the
filter should be installed on the upstream side of the
sensor. The pipeline should be cleaned and discharged regularly. If the liquid to be tested contains gas, a side-mounted air eliminator should be installed upstream of the
sensor. The drain and air vents of the
filter and air eliminator should lead to a safe place;
5. When the
sensor is installed outdoors, measures should be taken to avoid direct sunlight and prevent rain.
