First, Karman vortex air flow meter
The so-called Karman vortex refers to two rows of vortices that alternate in the direction of rotation and alternately appearing downstream of the object when a cylindrical or triangular object is placed in the fluid.
Second, optical card door vortex air flow meter
During the process of generating the Karman vortex, the air pressure on both sides of the vortex generator changes, and acts on the metal foil through the guiding hole to vibrate. When the light of the LED is on the vibrating metal foil, the phototransistor receives The reflected light on the metal foil is vortex-modulated light whose output is demodulated to obtain a frequency signal representative of the air flow.
Third, ultrasonic card door vortex air flow meter
An ultrasonic transmitting probe and a receiving probe are oppositely mounted on both sides of the downstream line of the Karman vortex generator. Due to the influence of the Karman vortex on the air density, the time from the transmitting probe to the receiving probe is delayed compared to the absence of the vortex. The phase signal is processed to obtain a vortex pulse signal.
