The nominal size of the valve
The GB/T 1047-2005 standard stipulates that the valve's nominal diameter is only an indicator, represented by the combination of the symbol “DN” and the number. The nominal size cannot represent the measured valve caliber, and the valve’s actual caliber is related to the relevant standards. Regulations, the general measured value (in mm) shall not be less than 95% of the nominal size value. The nominal dimensions are metric (symbol: DN) and imperial (symbol: NPS), the national standard valve is metric, and the American standard valve is English. The metric DN values are as follows:
