Description of the standard related to the safety shut-off valve

The European standard EN 264 "Safe shut-off valves in combustion units using liquid fuels" imposes stringent requirements on such valves. According to this standard, the German Technical Inspection Laboratory has the following requirements for the safety shut-off valve: ■ The function of the safety shut-off valve
■ Ability to work continuously
■ Electrical safety requirements
■ Sealing of the shutoff valve
■ Mechanical strength of the part
After the inspection, the German DIN
CERTCO will issue the relevant certificate.
