First, the compatibility of the seal material and the working medium
The material of the seal is chosen according to the sealing medium. There must be good compatibility between the seal material and the working medium. It must withstand the corrosion and wear of the working medium, and will not cause chemical reaction with the working medium to cause precipitation and crystallization.
Second, the seal material and mechanical movement speed
The ability of the seal material to adapt to the speed of the mechanical movement is also different. When the mechanical rotation speed is high, the seal of the ordinary material may fail to cause leakage.
Third, the seal material and working temperature
The effect of temperature on the seal is particularly large. If the selected material does not adapt to the operating temperature, the life of the seal will be greatly reduced.
Fourth, the seal material and working pressure
The relationship between the material of the seal and the pressure is also very important. If the pressure is too high, the wear will be accelerated. If the pressure is too small, the sealing effect is not satisfactory.
