Mechanical seal technical requirements description
Mechanical seals are mechanical components of higher precision, and their proper installation and operation have a major impact on their service life. We generally follow the standards set by the Ministry of Petroleum and Chemical Industry. The technical requirements for the mechanical seal of the pump and mechanical seal are as follows: 1. Shaft bending: no more than 0.05 mm; 2. Rotor swing: no more than 0.06 mm near the bushing at the moving ring seal; The axial yaw force is not allowed to exceed ±0.5 mm. If the bushing is provided, the bushing is not allowed to loosen. 4. The alignment error of the coupling: no more than 0.08~0.10 mm (P2008C) for the gear coupling. For flexible couplings not more than 0.05 ~ 0.06 mm; (habitual practice end jump <0.05, diameter jump <0.10) 5, gland (static ring seat) and seal fit the centerline concentricity tolerance of the shaft 0.05 mm The perpendicularity of the plane in contact with the gasket to the centerline is 0.03 to 0.05 mm. If the requirement is not met, the sealing cavity is to be processed; 6. The end of the sleeve of the moving ring seal is installed, and the static ring is installed. The end of the gland (or housing) of the seal should be chamfered and smoothed. 1. Be careful when installing and disassembling the mechanical seal. Do not use the hand hammer and the flat shovel to avoid damage to the sealing components. If the scale is not removed, it should be cleaned before disassembly. 2. If mechanical seals are used at both ends of the pump, take care of each other during assembly and disassembly to prevent loss. 3. For the mechanical seal that has been operated, if there is looseness of the gland to move the seal, the static and dynamic ring parts must be replaced and should not be re-tightened for continued use. Because the original running track of the friction pair changes after loosening, the sealing of the contact surface is easily destroyed.
