Application description of pressure transmitter in measuring mud pressure

In industrial measurement, there are always many measuring media that are special. Such as strong acid, strong alkali, or more complex measuring medium, such as asphalt, mud and so on.
In actual production needs, there is a lot of need to measure the pressure of the mud. So there is a high demand for how to choose a pressure transmitter.
We all know that the pressure sensors used on ordinary pressure transmitters are ceramic, diffused silicon and so on. When they are in contact with the media, the requirements for the media are also harsh. Ceramics are more brittle, and the diffused silicon diaphragm is thinner and afraid of hard objects. Once the hard particles hit the diaphragm, the sensor is broken.
So what should we do?
We used one thing, the load cell, when we simulated the pressure on the coal seam. Yes, it is a load cell. When there is pressure to squeeze the bearing fulcrum of the load cell, there will be a change in weight. So can we measure the mud or not? Make the pressure point a flat surface, which is fixed in size. Pressure is the pressure on a unit area, the area is known, and the magnitude of the pressure can be calculated. When doing calibration, it can be calibrated according to a certain ratio.
In practice, this method is still quite feasible. It is only under small pressure that this method is not sensitive enough and the accuracy is not guaranteed.
