Electromagnetic flowmeters are described by usage

1) General-purpose electromagnetic flowmeter is used in metallurgy, petrochemical, papermaking, textile, water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, and general electromagnetic flowmeters in the fields of medicine, food, biology and fine chemicals. It is the main type of electromagnetic flowmeter. There is a range requirement for the conductivity of the measured medium, and generally it cannot exceed the upper and lower limits.
 
2) Explosion-proof electromagnetic flowmeter is used in places with explosive atmosphere. Because the excitation current energy is relatively large, it is still mainly based on the explosion-proof type. In recent years, intrinsically safe type has been developed in foreign countries, that is, the safety spark type electromagnetic flowmeter, the excitation power is greatly reduced, and it can be made into an integrated type, all of which are installed in a dangerous area.
 
3) Hygienic electromagnetic flowmeters are used in electromagnetic flowmeters in industries such as medicine, food and biochemistry, and must comply with relevant hygiene requirements in terms of timing, easy disassembly and cleaning.
 
4) The anti-soak type electromagnetic flowmeter is used for sensors installed under the ground and can withstand short-term water immersion.
 
5) Submersible electromagnetic flowmeter is used to measure the flow when the free channel of the open channel or non-full pipe culvert is free flowing. The sensor is in the lower part of the open channel intercepting baffle and is immersed in water for a long time. The structure and use are different from the general electromagnetic flowmeter.
 
6) Plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter for large-diameter electromagnetic flow sensor. The sensor is inserted radially from the pipe opening to measure the local flow rate to calculate the flow rate, which is less accurate, but cheaper and is used in the control system.
